January News 2022

Happy New Year! What a start to 2022 we have had and some incredible moments already to share and celebrate.

Good News!

Fantastic work from Becky who has recently been tutoring a student who came to us just in September after failing his maths GCSE on two occasions. Thanks to Becky’s help and support he secured the pass in his November 2021 resist. He is absolutely thrilled and extremely grateful for all Becky’s help.

Amazing work from Liz with one of our longest standing clients. After writing to David Attenborough in one of her tutorials he has actually written back personally answering her questions - what a joy this was and a real lesson in the power writing has to move and connect people.

Well done to Zoe Wilson for superb work in supporting one of our students towards passing her in-year entrance exams for Stockport Grammar School.

More good news this week as one of our students who has been supported by Helen Marshall has passed her Entrance Exam for Manchester High School for Girls.

Huge thank you to Jen who has stepped up to support one of our schools with extra days during what has been a difficult staffing time for them. Her fabulous work and commitment has meant that a young class of Year 2s have been able to have consistency and stability when they would otherwise have had a very difficult year to date of changing faces. Both the school, students and parents are immensely grateful for all Jen’s work and for putting them first.

Congratulations to Laura who has given birth to a baby boy, Carson. Mum and baby are doing brilliantly and it’s a joy to see them doing so well.

Welcome

We are delighted to welcome James to the team this year. James is a Humanities Faculty Leader at his school and will be supporting students with History, Geography and Politics. We are sure that James will be a great addition to the team and we are looking forward to working with him.
